Information about the Listserv of Freedom - press

Dear companion:

In the list of discussion FREEDOM - PRESS the journalists can ask, report, and discuss realities that they face in his daily work. Even date, hundreds of Latin-American journalists use the list as resource electronic to debate everything related to the freedom of expression. This is not a list of moderate discussion.

To subscribe add his e-mail address, name and surname in the paragraph "Subscribe to our listserv" in the box of the part left of this page and touch to "Send". Once signed it will receive a message from assertion in his PO Box.

This is a list of discussion without moderators that the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ, for his initials in English) it provides like a service to users. Since the ICFJ can neither edit nor check the messages that they send by means of the list, we ask him the participants following rules to respect them :

  1. The intention of this list is to facilitate the discussion on diverse topics. For the same, we him ask those who should take part in this forum that excellent comments do it with to the topic in discussion. One asks not to send messages TV/radio commercials, requests, either surveys, or alerts of virus.
  2. When he sends a message, please include his name and that of his affiliation labor.
  3. The sent messages will have to be informative, constructive and directed of way politely. There are exhorted the energy opinions and the different points of sight; nevertheless, the participants must avoid any type of attacks personal, as well as the use of spiteful or intolerant language. Do not send materials that could be slanderous, excessive, profane, threatening, offensive or illegal. Do not also send information that could be protected for copyright rights without the permission of his owner.
  4. The messages eviados must be brief and must not exceed a printed page. Please not to send attached messages. In general, the extensive messages and them attached messages should appear on an Internet page apart from way brief (giving the direction of the same one), or those who want to study in depth some topic should invite to those who are interested to to continue the discussion across another way.
  5. ICFJ reserves the right to expel a participant of the list if it makes inappropriate use of the same one one .
